Bindi Irwin & Chandler Powell Take Daughter Grace Warrior To Release Sea Turtles — Photos
Little Grace Warrior is already hard at work!
Bindi Irwin and hubby Chandler Powell took 3-month-old daughter Grace to release a group of rehabilitated sea turtles in honor of Terri Irwin's 57th birthday on Monday, July 19. Bindi's brother, Robert Irwin, also joined the family for Grace's grandmother's special day.
The new mama shared several snaps of the crew's big day out on the water, with the first photo being Bindi and Terri each holding a sea turtle.
The daughter of the late Steve Irwin, 22, shared an adorable snap of her and her smiling daughter crouching on the dock in front of the boat, which had the words "Croc One" written on the side. It seems Grace's big day took a toll on her, as Bindi shared a photo of the young-and-in-love couple with Terri while Grace was fast asleep in her mama's arms.
Bindi also posted a photo of her, Chandler and Robert crouching down to gaze at one of the turtles while Terri had her hands on the reptile. Another photo showed the family smiling as they released the turtle into the water, with Robert in the ocean documenting the exciting moment.
"Celebrating my beautiful mama's birthday by releasing five sea turtles back to the wild, after they were in care at our Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital," Bindi explained of the family's activities before paying tribute to Terri. "This day will live in my heart forever, with the most amazing Mama turned Bunny (our term for grandmother). I love you beyond description, Mum. ❤️."

Powell, 24, also shared a photo of the family-of-three and Terri while praising his mother-in-law. "Happy birthday to Terri, my mum-in-law and Grace's Bunny!" he wrote on his Instagram post. "You inspire us every day with your strength and unwavering kindness."
"We all love you and can't wait to celebrate you!" the father-of-one added.
Bindi's touching post for her mom comes after she announced last month that she would be taking a break from social media — a hiatus that lasted a total of one month — to focus on her family and mental health. At the time, Powell praised his wife for her decision, calling Bindi the "strongest and most beautiful person."
For Bindi's debut post earlier this month, she shared a "collection of [her] favorite moments this month," which included photos of the couple with Grace as they took nature walks, met baby kangaroos and opened their special bird exhibit dedicated to their little one.
"Our beautiful angel has started giggling all the time and absolutely loves nature walks, looking for wildlife with us. Can you believe she'll be 4 months old soon?! Infinite love and gratitude in my heart. 💛," the proud mama wrote.
