'Sister Wives' Star Robyn Brown Tearfully Reveals She Does Not Have Connection With Kody's Other Wives As Patriarch Details Strained Relationship With Sons Gabe & Garrison
The Brown family has been opening up more about their complicated relationships.
In a preview for the the upcoming installment of the three part Sister Wives special Sunday, February 6, via Entertainment Tonight — Robyn Brown revealed that she feels shut out by husband Kody Brown's other wives Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and now estranged wife Christine Brown.
The father-of-18, 53, explained that in the years that he has been with all four women, there has been an understood "pecking order" that has gone by the length of each marriage. Meri, 51, being the first after making it official with Kody in 1990, Janelle, 52, being the second after marrying in 1993, Christine, 49, coming in third after joining in 1993 and Robyn, 43, ranking fourth after becoming part of the family in 2010.
"Meri was really hard on Janelle, and then Janelle and Meri were hard on Christine, and then Janelle, Meri and Christine were hard on Robyn," the tech sales representative said. "And Robyn's going, 'Well, I didn't do this to you. I didn't do this, why are you this way?' And frankly, other than Meri, I'm not sure that the others would ever want to be her friend."
The mother-of-five added that she has extended the olive branch to Janelle to see if they could improve their relationship but the real estate broker said that she would "have to think about that."

"There is some history there in the past," Janelle clarified. "My desire is there, but I'm kind of like, 'Ugh, do I want to do this again?', you know what I mean? I feel like in this particular conversation, I was kind of being put on the spot, and I'm like, 'I don't know. I don't know.'"
Robyn later succumbs to an emotional moment as she laments about the fact that she is the only spouse that has a healthy relationship with Kody. "I just don't know why they're not figuring this stuff out," the reality star said.
Another bombshell revealed during the special was that Kody is currently not on speaking terms with his sons Gabriel Brown, 21, and Garrison Brown, 23, ( whom he shares with Janelle) after clashing over their dad's COVID guidelines — prompting the two to move out of the house.
“[We’re] not good. Not talking,” Kody explained of his boys in a sneak peak for the one on one special via US Weekly. “It’s like one of those relationships where we’ve gotta do a lot of work.”
“I make rules, you guys abide by them. I understand that these two needed their social lives. I totally get it. But in this case, COVID is different,” the strict father stated. “It’s changed everything for everybody, and they want it all to be the same.”
