Fans won't be seeing Rod Stewart for the remainder of his U.S. tour.
According to the latest reports shared through his Instagram handle, Stewart has canceled the rest of his tour after undergoing heart surgery.
The star was scheduled to perform across Iowa, Missouri, and Minnesota, as well as a six-night stretch at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Rod Stewart Will Take 'the Next Four Weeks' to Recuperate
Rod Stewart reportedly canceled the remainder of his U.S. Tour after undergoing heart surgery.
As per his Instagram, Stewart, 81, has successfully undergone a routine coronary stent procedure after proper medical evaluation.
"Doctors are pleased with his recovery, and Rod is doing very well and has returned to his normal daily activities," the statement read.
Rod Stewart's Instagram handle announced that he will be recuperating the 'next four weeks.'
"On the advice of his doctors, he will take the next four weeks to recuperate and regain full fitness before returning to the stage," it continued.
"Unfortunately, this means he will be unable to continue his current tour dates. Information regarding affected performances will be communicated by the respective promoters and venues," the statement concluded.

Rod Stewart updated his fans on his health condition, confirming that he is 'already feeling better.'
In another image, a statement from Stewart was added as well, in which he updated fans on his current health condition.
"I'm already feeling better and very much on the mend," he told his 1.7 million followers. "I want to thank the doctors, nurses, and everyone who has taken such wonderful care of me."
Rod Stewart said he is 'deeply disappointed' to miss these shows and 'sorry to let my fans down.'
"I'm deeply disappointed to miss these shows and sorry to let my fans down, but I look forward to getting back on stage and having a good time with you all again soon," the message continued.
This announcement and statement come after Stewart postponed shows in Cincinnati and Cleveland earlier this month, following medical concerns.
He did the same with shows in Nevada and California in May and June, sharing that he was on vocal rest due to a sinus infection.
Rod Stewart said he is 'devastated' and 'sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to my fans.'
"So sorry my friends. I'm devastated and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to my fans. I'll be back on stage and will see you soon," he wrote in a message on Instagram, per Sky News.
He also later updated that he had been diagnosed with a respiratory infection that resulted in laryngitis. He was due to play the Legends slot at Glastonbury later that month.
Stewart is in the midst of his epic One Last Time Tour. On Ticketmaster, all of his gigs up to the end of August are showing as cancelled. Two further dates in Colorado are scheduled for September next year.
