“She was reloading the gun on the ground, where there were pebbles and stuff,” they continued. “We didn’t see her check it, we didn’t know if something got in the barrel or not.”
This comes after OK! reported the "inexperienced and green" armorer admitted recently that she had been "nervous" and unsure if she was "ready" to take on the job professionally due to her limited experience.
The 24-year-old had just wrapped her first film, The Old Way, starring Nicolas Cage, which she described as a "really bada** way to start off a really long and cool career".
"It was also my first time being head armorer as well," Gutierrez-Reed spilled to the Voices Of The West podcast. "You know, I was really nervous about it at first, and I almost didn’t take the job because I wasn’t sure if I was ready, but, doing it, like, it went really smoothly."
As of now, the investigation is ongoing, and there are currently no updates on if any criminal charges will be filed.
