Making moves: Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are looking for some excitement in their marriage — which is why they’re busy house-hunting for a new pad in Nashville, a source says.
The pair vacationed there early in their relationship and the city is still a special place for them.
The Deadpool actor, 45, and the Gossip Girl alum, 34, who enjoy a cozy life with daughters James, 7, Inez, 5, and Betty, 2, at their idyllic $7 million home in upstate New York, “love the East Coast, but they’d like an escape from the harsh winters,” spills the source. “Nashville checks all the boxes because it’s warmer but still has seasons, it’s hip and it’s far from the Hollywood scene.”

Another big lure for The Age of Adaline actress is the prospect of being closer to bestie Taylor Swift, who spends most of her time in Music City with her beau, Joe Alwyn, the source adds.
“Blake and Taylor are still super close, but they don’t get to see each other much,” the source explains. “If they were in the same city, they could hang out together all the time.”

While the A-Listers won’t likely sell their New York estate, “they’re excited about moving someplace new,” continues the source. “Nashville would be a lot of fun.”
As OK! previously reported, Reynolds and Lively are doing better than ever after hitting a rough patch in their marriage during the pandemic.
"They had a rough time during lockdown, and there was talk among friends that they weren’t in a good place at all," dished an insider, adding that "splitting up just wasn’t an option" for the Hollywood stars.
The source explained that when the duo focused on spending more time together as a family, everything started to fall into place. "Rededicating themselves to their relationship and scheduling time to reconnect has breathed new life and passion into their marriage, and it shows." the insider continued. "Everyone can see they have that spark again!"
