Britney Spears' Fiancé Sam Asghari Reacts To Prenup Concerns After Octavia Spencer Urges Singer To Protect Her Empire
Britney Spears is finally getting her happily ever after with fiancé Sam Asghari — but it seems Octavia Spencer is doing her best to make sure the embattled pop star is protected if things go south.
After Spears announced her exciting news on Instagram on Sunday, September 12, The Help actress advised the mom-of-two to get a prenuptial agreement. “Make him sign a prenup,” the 51-year-old commented.
Spears' fans appeared to be on the same page as the Oscar Award winner, given that her father, Jamie Spears, has been accused of mismanaging her $60 million estate during the pop star's conservatorship, which she was placed under in 2008. (Jamie reportedly filed a petition to end his daughter's conservatorship earlier this month.)
While referring to Spears' second marriage to Kevin Federline — with whom she shares sons Sean Preston, 15, and Jayden James, 14 —one fan wrote: “Octavia Spencer looking out for her too. Ain’t gonna let a [sic] another federline happen."
The former flames did sign a prenup; however, their financial woes made headlines back in 2018, when Federline's request to nearly double the monthly child support he receives from his ex-wife was granted.

Other social media users pointed out that Spears and her legal team may have already drawn up a prenuptial agreement, given the financial issues she has been through.
Asghari has since comically responded to Spencer and fans' concerns over whether he just wants a piece of Spears' fortune, as he took his Instagram Story to address the skeptics. "Thank you everyone who is concerned about The prenup!" Asghari wrote, adding: "Of course we're getting iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day," with two crying laughing emojis.
Asghari, 27, proposed to the 39-year-old at the songstress' home after the two had been together for nearly five years. During her bombshell court hearing over the summer, Spears expressed that she has wanted to marry Asghari for quite a while, but claimed she wasn't able to do so under her oppressive conservatorship.
Spears is "ecstatic" about her future with the actor, an insider claimed, as the "Gimme More" singer excitedly showed off her 4-carat round rock in her announcement video. "I can't f**king believe it," Spears captioned the post while adding multiple diamond ring emojis.
The pop icon's soon-to-be hubby — who previously said he just wanted a "normal" future with his fiancée — also posted a photo of the Crossroads actress showing off her new bling, simply captioning his Instagram post with a king and queen emoji.
