Scarlett Johansson & Husband Colin Jost Welcome First Child Together — Find Out The Baby's Unique Name
Scarlett Johansson is officially a mama-of-two!
The Black Widow star and husband Colin Jost welcomed their first baby together, a son named Cosmo. The Saturday Night Live star shared the exciting news on Wednesday, August 18, days after he confirmed his wife was pregnant.
"Ok ok we had a baby, His name is Cosmo, We love him very much," Jost shared in a statement to Instagram. "Privacy would be greatly appreciated." The handsome hunk comically captioned the announcement post with the hashtags #wegotawaywithitforalongtime, #nokidspolicy and #we’regoingtodisneyworld.
The actress is already a mom to six-year-old daughter Rose Dorothy — who she shares with French journalist ex-husband Romain Dauriac.
The new father and Johansson kept her pregnancy under wraps for a while, as speculation surrounding their baby bliss only began circulating in July. At the time, an insider revealed the actress "is actually due soon,” noting: “I know she and Colin are thrilled.”

Fans first caught on to Johansson's possible bun in the oven when she didn't make an appearance at any in-person promotional events for Black Widow. “She hasn’t been doing many interviews or events to promote ‘Black Widow,’ which is surprising since it is a huge Marvel/Disney release and she is both the star and an executive producer," a Page Six source pointed out at the time.
Adding fuel to the fire, The Avengers actress had only done Zoom interviews in recent months, during which she was always noticeably shot from the shoulders up.
As OK! previously reported, Jost confirmed the news of their growing family during a stand-up routine in Connecticut on Sunday, August 15. “We’re having a baby, it’s exciting," the comic told the audience. "It's exciting."
The Hollywood couple wed during an intimate ceremony last October after dating for three years. The Marvel icon debuted her 11-carat engagement ring in July 2019 — two months after Jost popped the question — during her appearance at San Diego Comic-Con.
Months after she debuted her new shiny jewel, Johansson recalled her memorable engagement while speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, gushing that her hubby "killed it."
The Oscar nominee — who is currently suing Disney, claiming the studio breached her contract by releasing Black Widow via its streaming service — was previously married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008-2011 before she wed second husband Dauriac.
