A mother's heartache. Maya Vander heartbreakingly revealed she is mourning the loss of her son, Mason, after suffering a pregnancy loss at 38 weeks.
"Yesterday was the hardest day of my life. I had a still birth at 38 weeks," the Selling Sunset star captioned her heartbreaking post via Instagram on Friday, December 10. "I always heard of it but never imagined I’ll be part of the statistics. Instead of delivering a baby, I get to go home with a memory box… I do not wish this on anyone."
The grieving mother continued, "What was a regular weekly checkup turned into a nightmare that I never imagined will happen to me. Given I share my pregnancies in the show I knew I’ll have to post about this and avoid the 'when is your due date ' question. You will always be in our heart baby Mason 💔💙."
The real estate agent, who shares 19-month-old daughter Elle and 2-year-old son Aiden with her husband, announced the devastating news alongside a photo of Mason's memory box.

Vander's famous pals showered her with love after the announcement. "I’m so sorry maya❤️❤️❤️," Flip or Flop star Tarek El Moussa wrote, while her Selling Sunset costar Mary Fitzgerald commented: "My heart is breaking for you babe. Sending you prayers, love, and strength 💔."

The reality TV star announced she was expecting in July while posing on a rooftop in Miami.
