Selma Blair was spotted out and about for a stroll in L.A. earlier this week, and she couldn't help but show off her beaming smile.
The Cruel Intentions alum, 49, was photographed while making a coffee run in Studio City, Calif., on Wednesday, January 19 alongside her service dog, Scout.
Blair added the adorable pooch to her family to help with her battle with multiple sclerosis, a diagnosis she recieved in 2018.
A source previously spilled to OK! about Blair's experience with the unpredictable degenerative disease, calling the situation "very scary because for the longest time, doctor's didn't know what was wrong with her, and it had gotten to the point where she could hardly speak or walk."
"When they finally figured out it was MS, Selma was devastated because she was told there is no cure,” however after an invasive stem cell transplant in 2019 and rounds of chemotherapy, Blair eventually went into remission and made major improvements in her speech and movement abilities.
The Legally Blonde actress has now been making more progress than ever with the help of the gorgeous service dog, who graduated service training just last month.
She shared a celebratory Instagram post at the time, to explain how Scout "helps me with some personal stumbling blocks and aids in my mobility."
Blair also took the opportunity to ask her fans to "give a smile" to her pup if they are seen out in public, but "please don't approach," as "distractions really set me back."
"I am building stamina and coordination with the aid of this special dog and training," she continued in her post. "I am excited for this time to focus and settle and get out of the house more."
