The "Treat You Better" singer, 23, and 24-year-old — who began dating in 2019 — signed off: "Camila and Shawn".
Though it's unclear when the "Señorita" singers decided to call things off, Mendes shared a photo of the two decked out in honor of for Día de los Muertos (a.k.a Day of the Dead) on October 31 that he captioned, "Feliz día de los muertos.”
In his 2020 documentary In Wonder, Mendes opened up about the first time he met the "Worth It" songstress during Austin Mahone's 2014 tour, with the pair becoming quick friends — years before things turned romantic. The exes previously sparked speculation that they had broken up after they were not spotted together after shacking up in quarantine — but Cabello shot down those rumors by praising Mendes for Wonder in October 2022.
"The world could use some magic, beauty, and Wonder always, but especially right now," the "Havana" singer captioned a sweet Instagram video of Mendes singing at the time. "@shawnmendes what a gorgeous gift to the world. He's crafted this album with every last bit of his soul, his spirit, and his essence with the purest of intentions."
