Sherri Shepherd is returning to The View for its milestone 30th season, nearly two decades after she joined the daytime talk show's panel.
She will appear on the September 11 episode, according to ABC's newly announced schedule.
Shepherd Will Reunite With 'The View' Panel
Shepherd will appear as a guest on 'The View' in September.
The former co-host's return is a guest appearance rather than a permanent comeback to the panel.
She will sit down with The View cast, including Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin during the episode.
The reunion brings the actress and comedian back to the table more than a decade after leaving the regular panel.
Her episode will also feature Maisie Williams, who is promoting Practical Magic 2.
Former Hosts Are Also Talking About the Anniversary
Other former co-hosts have also talked about the show's 30th season.
The booking comes amid attention from other former The View co-hosts about possible anniversary appearances.
Rosie O'Donnell, who recently hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live! where she taunted President Donald Trump, said on "The Tangle" podcast in August that she expected to appear. "They're bringing back all the hosts, I think." said O'Donnell before adding that she was "pretty proud of that show, what it's become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics."
The remarks prompted Michelle Collins, who previously co-hosted the show, to say she had not been contacted.
"I just heard that Rosie O'Donnell went on my friend Kyle Ridley's podcast and said that all the co-hosts from The View were being asked back for the 30th season," Collins said in an Instagram video. "But I have not heard from anyone from the show."
O'Donnell's representatives later clarified that no formal invitation had been made at the time.

Shepherd Spent Seven Seasons at the Table
Shepherd co-hosted 'The View' for seven seasons before leaving in 2014.
Shepherd joined The View in 2007 following O'Donnell's departure and remained a regular co-host until 2014.
During those years, she worked alongside Goldberg, Behar and creator Barbara Walters, whom she credits with helping her develop as a television personality.
"She taught me how to find my voice," the former co-host said in 2025 while reflecting on Walters' influence.
She later carried that experience into her own syndicated daytime program, Sherri, which premiered in 2022.
'The View' Has Changed Since Shepherd Left
Shepherd is one of the show's many co-hosts since its launch in 1997.
Walters launched The View in 1997, creating a daytime format built around conversations about politics, entertainment, culture and current events.
The program has gone through numerous panel changes since then, while Behar remains its longest-serving co-host and Goldberg has been part of the table since 2007.
The show's milestone season will feature a particularly wide-ranging guest roster. September's lineup includes actors such as Jessica Lange, Andrew Garfield, and Ethan Hawke. Musicians Lizzo and Kenny Chesney and political figures including Ted Cruz and Andy Beshear will also make appearances.
