How Does 'Sister Wives' Star Janelle Brown Like Living Life In An RV On Polygamist Family Property? 'Nice Perks,' She Insists
Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is embarking on a new adventure this summer — and it seems as though she's really enjoying herself.
The 52-year-old announced on Sunday, June 27, that she moved into a camper on the polygamist Brown family property in Flagstaff, Ariz. "I have something fun to share. I acted boldly and seized an adventure," Janelle captioned her Instagram photo of her new home. "Presenting my new summer adventure — the RV life but camped on our property."
The wife of reality star Kody Brown explained to her 459K social media followers that the rental where she was living was sold, so she "chose an alternative path to trying to find another rental." Janelle, who wed Kody in 1993, noted that the housing market is "crazy" in Flagstaff — just like it probably is everywhere else in the world at the moment, she speculated — but said "rentals are even harder to come by."
On Tuesday, June 29, she posted a follow-up Instagram to give fans and followers an update on how hashtag-RV life is treating her. "Good morning :) This is going to be a fun adventure - nice perks #rvlife #summerfun," she captioned the shot of the sun rising.

Janelle's RV is parked on the family's Coyote Pass property, where Kody, 52, and his four wives — Janelle, Robyn, 42, Meri, 50, and Christine, 49 — moved to from Las Vegas, Nev., three years ago. While Kody planned to build one large home on the property, his wives preferred they each have their own place, PEOPLE reported.
"Lots to do out here on the land so I figured why not be onsite," Janelle continued, candidly admitting that she is a little nervous about her new lifestyle. "Honestly I’m alternating between extreme excitement as I’ve always wanted to try this and anxiety at all the unknown variables. So stay tuned, this is about to get real !"
The blonde babe's followers were quick to congratulate Janelle on living out her dream via the comment section. "U got ur dream. U kept saying u would live in an RV," one user wrote.
"So happy for you! I know you were super anxious to get onto the property and look at you now!!! ♡♡♡," another commented as a third added, "I love this idea for you and the family!! It gets you on the property and is a fun adventure in the process!! Wishing you all the best!"
Janelle and Kody share children Logan, 27, Maddie, 25, Hunter, 24, Garrison, 22, Gabe, 20, and Savannah, 16, with their three youngest kids still living at home.
