During Stephen's appearance on the Tuesday, August 31, episode of the "Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum" podcast, he addressed the situation and revealed he's "trying to make amends" for his actions, specifically with his wife. "I mean, maybe I destroyed my entire life, my entire career? So, I think, ultimately, very ashamed of it," the 40-year-old admitted.

The Arrow star explained he had "too many drinks in a public place" before the couple boarded the plane. "I was pissed off about something else that had nothing to do with Cass, my wife, and I picked a fight," he confessed. "Just picked a fight because I wanted to be loud and upset."

In addition to causing a scene, Stephen speculated he dropped a few "f-bombs" as he argued with his wife — who Stephen said didn't engage in the "argument." In fact, Cassandra, 35, just warned her hubby that he would probably get kicked off the plane if he kept up with his behavior.

"I was just upset and wanted to be upset and sure enough after [Cass] said this, a guy came by and said, ‘Sir, you have to keep your voice down, please,'" he recalled. Ten minutes after Stephen calmed down, he was asked to leave the plane, which was still at the gate.

While he said he "can’t even remember what [he] was upset about," Stephen noted the incident was "indicative of two things," with the first being: "handle your liquor… And B, it clearly wasn’t important."

“I’m actually, frankly, like deeply ashamed of it,” the Heels actor insisted. “I feel like I went the better part of 10 years without being an a**hole in public. I was an a**hole in public," Stephen declared.

The Canadian actor — who shares 7-year-old daughter Maverick with Cassandra — added: “[Cassandra] was frankly even more pissed when I said ‘argument’ as opposed to ‘pick a fight.'" The couple has been married since 2012.

Stephen first addressed the incident in June, tweeting at the time that he and his wife "got into an argument" on a Delta flight from Austin to L.A. The handsome hunk claimed he "immediately" left the flight when he was asked to do so. "I was not forcibly removed," he stated, adding that he had no further issues when he boarded a later flight.

"I let my emotions get the better of me," Stephen confessed before throwing shade at the media for blowing the situation out proportion. "End of story. Must be a slow news cycle.”
