Teen Mom OG's Amber Portwood Advises 'It's Okay To Fall Apart' After Fan Accuses Her Of Being On Drugs: 'You Are Not Weak'
A little self-care!
Amber Portwood is spreading a little positivity days after fans accused her of being on drugs after posting a selfie on social media.
“It is okay to fall apart even after you thought you had it under control,” the Teen Mom OG shared via Instagram Story on Wednesday, November 24. “You are not weak.”
The motivational message comes after the 31-year-old posted a sweet snap of herself and got accused of being on drugs. “Hope all of you beautiful souls are having a wonderful weekend 💕,” she captioned a photo via Instagram on November 20. “I’m thinking about all the things I’m grateful for heading into the thanksgiving holiday ✨what are you thankful for?"
A fan quickly fired off the drug accusation, saying, "those pupils are huge sis," referring to the size of Portwood’s pupils in the photos. Taking the high road, the MTV star shot back, "Because my medicine is a must hun. Please be positive❤️ What are you thankful for?🙏."
Feeling aggravated by the ordeal, the frustrated Indiana native took to Instagram Live to discuss the situation. "My pupils can be as big as they can be," she told her viewers. "I'm in a dark, f**king house, and I'm also on medications. Duh!"

As OK! previously reported, as Portwood continues to duke it out in court over custody of her three-year-old son James with ex, Andrew Glennon, he claimed she has a long history of substance abuse.
The exes — who called it quits in 2019 — are embroiled in a messy custody battle. In court docs, Glennon claimed his ex used drugs “while pregnant with and subsequently caring for the minor child herein.”
The 16 and Pregnant alum quickly fired back, shutting down his claim. “Mother has exercised her parenting time with the parties’ child without any incidents regarding any type of substance abuse,” her statement read, adding she is required to submit random drug screens monthly since 2019 and has “never failed” one.
The former Teen Mom also shares 13-year-old daughter Leah with ex Gary Shirley.
