The Weeknd Fuels Angelina Jolie Dating Rumors With 'Movie Star' Lyric On 'Dawn FM' New Album
Save Your Tears because it seems The Weeknd is fueling rumors of his and Angelina Jolie's possible romance.
The "Save Your Tears" crooner sent fans into a frenzy after teasing that he's dating an A-list actress on his new album, Dawn FM, which dropped Friday, January 7.
The Weeknd — real name Abel Tesfaye — addressed his mysterious new relationship on the album's eighth track, "Here We Go… Again," when he sings: "My new girl, she’s a movie star."
"I loved her right/ Make her scream like Neve Campbell," he sings, with him seemingly adding details of his and his mystery woman's sex life. "But I make her laugh / Swear it cures my depressing thoughts / ‘Cause, baby girl, she a movie star / Baby girl, she a movie star / I told myself that I’d never fall / But here we go again."
The questionable new flames first sparked dating rumors over the summer when they were photographed together leaving Los Angeles hotspot Giorgio Baldi. The Weeknd and Jolie were also snapped at Mustafa the Poet’s private concert weeks later, OK! reported.
And while The Weeknd and Jolie initially connected over work projects, an OK! insider spilled that the artist "has been obsessed with Angie for years."

"He first hooked up with her this summer saying he needed help for a charity project, but his intention all along was to have a serious relationship," the source spilled, adding that the 46-year-old actress, "has been allowing him to wine and dine her because she enjoys the attention."
Despite their alleged budding romance, those close to The Weeknd are waving a warning flag and insisting the Mr. & Mrs. Smith star is going to break his heart, but "Abel’s not listening,” explained the source.
Neither the "Blinding Lights" performer nor the Maleficent actress has confirmed their romance, but Jolie previously side stepped a discussion of the nature of her and the 31-year-old's relationship.
While appearing on E!’s Daily Pop with her co-star Salma Hayek to promote Marvel movie Eternals, Jolie was asked by host Justin Sylvester whether her children were more excited about her upcoming movie or friendship with the Grammy Award winner.
"They’re very excited about this film, if that’s what you’re asking," Jolie responded with a smile, per Page Six, while glancing at the host. "They’re very excited about this film."
The Weeknd has been famously linked to Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez while Jolie is still trying to tie up loose ends with ex-husband Brad Pitt over custody of their kids: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox.
