'Pure Joy': Tom Welling And Wife Jessica Rose Lee Welcome Second Child
Another baby on board! Smallville alum Tom Welling and his wife Jessica Rose Lee have welcomed their second child.
"Rocklin Von, welcome to your family," Lee announced on Instagram on Sunday, June 6, with a photo of the baby sleeping. "He’s here!"
"Pure joy🙌," Welling commented on the sweet snap.
Fans and friends rushed to the comment section to congratulate the parents.
"Beautiful!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ congrats to you and Tom!" Ashley Greene wrote.
"Congratulations! ❤️❤️," Bill Gates' daughter Jennifer Gates said.
"Beautiful 💖💖💖💖welcome angel xx," one fan gushed.
Lee shared more photos of the newborn on Instagram, including an adorable selfie with Rocklin and the couple's 2-year-old son Thomson Wyld that she captioned, "Heart and hands so full ☁️."
Welling announced the couple were expecting another child in January with the help of Superman costar Michael Rosenbaum on his Inside of You podcast. During their conversation, Rosenbaum noted Welling and his wife had "another kid on the way," to which the Lucifer actor jokingly responded, "What? I do?"
"You do!" Rosenbaum said. "You have another one coming!"
Lee later confirmed the news on Instagram. "That smile says it all," she captioned a photo of the 44-year-old holding a picture of an ultrasound.
The pair tied the knot in December 2019 at the Sunstone Vineyards & Winery in San Ynez, Calif., and welcomed their eldest in January of that year. "We are over the moon filled with joy [and] love and so excited," she told Us Weekly during her first pregnancy.
Lee kept fans up to date during her second pregnancy by sharing snaps of her growing baby bump. "can’t wait to meet you, summer babe," she captioned a selfie posted one week before giving birth.
According to Welling, Rocklin will have no shortage of entertainment in his older brother. The proud papa told Rosenbaum in January that Thomson has grown up to be "a good, cute, funny kid," adding, "He makes me laugh all the time."
Welling and Lee got together in 2014, and he popped the question four years later. He was previously married to Jamie White before they separated in 2012 and finalized their divorce three years later.
