Despite Spelling feeling trapped, it looks like McDermott is the one ready to pull the plug. The estranged couple allegedly got into a blowout disagreement after the Slasher actor arrived back home after being MIA for two days. Upon his return, McDermott allegedly told his wife he was planning on suing her for alimony and child support.
Although the two have a prenup preventing McDermott from getting any of her fortune if they split, Spelling "recently learned that McDermott could still sue her for child support if they split," an insider spilled, adding she went "ballistic" when she found out.
Spelling and McDermott met on the set of a made-for-TV movie in 2005 and tied the knot in 2006.
