Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian reflected on one of the most heartbreaking moments of their relationship by opening up about their miscarriage.

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian opened up about their heartbreaking miscarriage in his new Hulu documentary, Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear.
On the latest episode of The New York Times' "Popcast," Barker, 50, said, "When there’s things that can benefit people or help people relate to something, I think that’s always like a green light, especially — she’s always trying to do something like that."

"Our journey of miscarriages and then IVF and it’s failed, resulting in us having a baby naturally — like I feel like that’s a story that so many people can relate [to]," he concluded.
Kardashian and Barker suffered a miscarriage in 2021, about six months into their relationship. According to E! Online, they lost a baby girl they planned to name Tulip three months into Kardashian's pregnancy.

Travis Barker said the interview format of his documentary made it easier for him and Kourtney Kardashian to discuss their miscarriage.
Barker also got candid about why the pair didn't share their experience on The Kardashians.
"The way the documentary happens is through a series of interviews. I’ll say something, and then they’re like, 'Oh, well tell me more about that,'" he said. "And that’s how that came up."

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian Share a Blended Family of Nine
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker built a blended family of nine after welcoming son Rocky Thirteen in 2023.
While the miscarriage left the two heartbroken, the pair continues to lead a happy life with their blended family of nine members.
Barker and Kardashian welcomed their first child, son Rocky Thirteen, in November 2023.
Kardashian shares sons Reign, 11, Mason, 16, and daughter Penelope, 14, with ex Scott Disick.
Meanwhile, Barker shares son Landon, 22, and daughter Alabama, 20, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. The musician also shares a pretty close bond with stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, the daughter of Moakler and Oscar De La Hoya.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker experienced one miscarriage together, which happened six months into their relationship in 2021.
Talking about how the duo adjusted after blending their families, Kardashian said during a February 2025 episode of The Kardashians, "I feel like blending, in the beginning, is a lot of adjusting for each person. Us in their space and then us being out of our space and into a new space."
"But it’s really good, but I do want to get this going," she continued. "And my stepkids have lived in their home for their whole lives. It’s new, all living together in one house, which is nice. It is change, but I think we’re at a really amazing place with it."
