Trevor Noah broke his silence on Kanye West's recent social media attack targeted at him.
As OK! reported, the rapper, 44, shared a racially-loaded post to his account earlier this week, calling Noah a "k**n" after he spoke out in Kim Kardashian's defense amid the former flames' ongoing public feud.
West was then suspended from Instagram for 24 hours for breaking the platform's bullying and harassment policies — and now Noah is vocalizing his own take on the situation.
"There are few artists who have had more of an impact on me than you Ye," the television host, 38, wrote in the comment section of West's since-deleted post, per Radar. "I thought differently about how I spend my money because of you, I learned to protect my child-like creativity from grown thoughts because of you, s**t I still smile every time I put my seatbelt on because of you."
"You were a serious rapper who also knew when not to take himself seriously. You effortlessly brought comedy into music and made us all smile while we rapped along. You're an indelible part of my life Ye. Which is why it breaks my heart to see you like this," he continued.

"I don't care if you support Trump and I don't care if you roast Pete [Davidson.] I do however care when I see you on a path that's dangerously close to peril in pain," Noah added of Kardashian's new beau, while warning the Donda artist about his concerning attacks on the mother of his children.
As OK! reported, West has been publicly airing out his custody issues with Kardashian over their four children on social media and accusing the reality star of keeping his kids from him. He even went so far as to accuse the reality star of "kidnapping" one of their daughters. (West previously admitted to "harassing" Kardashian online before continuing to target her in his posts.)
"You have every right to fight for your family. But you have to know the difference between that and fighting your family," Noah maintained in his lengthy message, before insinuating he's worried West will do something dangerous. "I've woken up too many times and read headlines about men who've killed their exes, their kids and then themselves. I never want to read that headline about you."
"If you're just joking about it all and I'm an idiot for caring, then so be it," he declared. "But I'd rather be the idiot who spoke up and said something to you in life, rather than the cool guy who said nothing and then mourns for you in prison or the grave."
"Oh and as for K**n...clearly some people graduate but we still stupid," the late-night host continued. "Don't ever forget, the biggest trick racists ever played on black people was teaching us to strip each other of our blackness whenever we disagree. Tricking us into dividing ourselves up into splinters so that we would never unite into a powerful rod."
However, he did concede: "I can't front though, K**n Baya is also funny as s**t."
"Look after yourself my brother. Hopefully one day we'll all be laughing about this," Noah concluded.
