Tristan Thompson's Alleged Mistress Sydney Chase Goes To Battle With The Baller By Hiring Celebrity Attorney Gloria Allred
Firing back! Tristan Thompson's alleged mistress Sydney Chase has reportedly lawyered up.
The 23-year-old has joined forces with celebrity powerhouse attorney Gloria Allred, according to Radar.
Chase's most recent move comes after Thompson's attorney, Marty Singer, sent the Instagram model a legal threat requesting she show the alleged messages between her and the athlete or to keep quiet, as previously reported by OK!.
In the letter, obtained by TMZ, Singer claimed that Chase refused to prove the existence of the messages which can only lead to one "inescapable conclusion ... that they do not exist."
Allred's firm announced that they were representing Chase in a statement. "Our client, Sydney Chase, is outraged at what she regards as false statements that have been made about her in the media by Tristan Thompson’s representatives," it read. "She has retained my law firm, Allred, Maroko & Goldberg, to represent her and to conduct a full investigation which she believes will substantiate the relationship between her and Tristan Thompson."
Allred said that the firm "would be willing to share evidence that Sydney has given us, provided that Mr. Thompson will make himself available in person to answer my questions and provide us with documents that we request."
"If Mr. Thompson has nothing to hide, then we would expect that he will make himself available for questioning by me and that he will voluntarily provide the documents," the statement continued. Additionally, Chase is willing "to be present at this meeting to answer questions and provide documents."

The statement concluded, "Khloé Kardashian is welcome to attend. We believe that the truth will emerge through this process. When we conclude our investigation, we will then advise Sydney regarding her legal options."
Last month, Chase alleged that she hooked up with Thompson. The 30-year-old claimed that he said he was single; however, when she learned he was still with Kardashian, she "cut it off" immediately, she said on Adam22's "No Jumper" podcast, which Singer sent a cease-and-desist letter to.
Chase alleged that she and the Boston Celtics player began a relationship in November (following his and Khloé's reconciliation over summer). Chase also claimed that Thompson told her that the KUWTK star is not his type.
According to a source, the Revenge Body host found out about Thompson's alleged scandal "with the rest of the world," when the media began posting it. "[Kardashian] has no idea what she's going to do now," the insider added. "She's still deciding which side of the story to believe."
OK! also reported that it appeared Kardashian had reached out to Chase to get to the bottom of things. Chase reportedly posted a screenshot of an Instagram DM the Good American founder sent her, and though it was quickly deleted, The Shade Room caught the post. "Hey Sydney, this is Khloé. I would appreciate it if our conversation can remain confidential," the screenshot read. That certainly didn't go over well!
