Will, is that you? Will Smith’s fans are starting to think something is up with his face.
As if he already didn’t have an age-defying look, the actor, 53, has users spiraling online since Smith has been looking extra youthful as of late.
Since appearing on BBC’s The One Show on Wednesday, November 17, and attending various premiere events for his new film King Richard, the actor’s fans can’t help but notice something looks different.
One viewer wrote, “What’s up with WIll Smith’s face??,” while another insisted, “Will Smith doesn’t look like Will Smith,” per The Daily Mail.
Another dedicated fan was convinced something was up, tweeting, “That’s not the same Will Smith we know,” while others agreed that the Pursuit of Happyness star looked “unrecognizable” in the recent pics.
Some of his fans claimed that the actor looked just as good as his days on The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, while others believed something was wrong with his face.
While it is unclear why Smith appeared to look differently than his fans are used to, the beloved actor didn’t stop from having a great time while promoting his upcoming movie.
The film — which is scheduled for release on Friday, November 19 — features Smith as Richard Williams, father of tennis pro’s Venus and Serena Williams.
The movie is said to follow the story of the Richard as he guides his daughters from the streets of Compton, Calif., to the Wimbledon tournament.
The outing comes as the Aladdin star has been spending time reflecting on his own childhood in his upcoming memoir, Will, where he reportedly details his experience growing up with a father who abused his mother.
“When I was nine years old, I watched my father punch my mother in the side of the head so hard that she collapsed,” he wrote in his pages, per The Sunday Times. “I saw her spit blood.”
“Within everything that I have done since then — the awards and accolades, the spotlights and the attention, the characters and the laughs — there has been a subtle string of apologies to my mother for my inaction that day,” he explained.
“For failing her in that moment,” the book continued. “For failing to stand up to my father. For being a coward.”
