Zayn Malik Surprises Fans With New Selfie On Instagram
Although he normally keeps a low profile, Zayn Malik surprised fans when he reappeared on social media.
The 28-year-old took to Instagram where he shared a selfie with no caption. In the pic, Malik donned a hat and gazed at the ground, giving viewers a glimpse of the tattoos on his neck. The selfie was followed by an image of him giving a thumbs up while fishing.
Fans took to the comments to share their excitement.
"Love you ♥️♥️," one user gushed.
"U look awesome <3," another said.
"We missed you Zayn🥺❤️," a third fan wrote.
The former One Direction member has previously admitted that he is not fond of social media, and told VMAN in 2017 that it had become "ridiculous" because even the "angles of pictures can’t be taken a certain way because that’s not the cool way to take an angle of a picture."

Malik said he felt that social media is "not really that developing for us as people. That for me is the main reason why I don’t believe in social media: because I believe it breeds sheep and not lions."
Before the new selfie, the most recent post from the "Better" singer was in support of Palestine in May.
While Malik is not the most active online, Gigi Hadid regularly gives fans insights into their life with their daughter, Khai. The pair welcomed their first child last year, with Malik gushing that "the love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding," at the time.
However, the "Vibez" hitmaker was reportedly involved in an altercation outside a downtown Manhattan bar on June 4, which left Hadid "furious" because Malik "is supposed to be a responsible father," according to an OK! insider.
"He’d promised Gigi that he’d given up his partying and gotten a grip on his temper," the insider said, and the model is said to have asked him "to be home by dark every night."
"Gigi loves Zayn to pieces, but she needs to see more of his mature side," the source explained. "Hopefully, he’ll stay out of trouble until they patch things up!”
