Gigi, 24, told the publication, "I think that as I get older… well one day I’ll start a family and I don’t know if I will always be modeling."
“I love the creative side of fashion, it’s so fulfilling,” she said. When asked whether or not she sees herself doing something else besides walking the runway, she said, “The people I work with make me so happy, I’m so lucky to be around them. But who knows? Maybe I’ll take up full time cooking!”
The catwalk queen also likes to spend her free time relaxing at her mom Yolanda Hadid’s farm in upstate New York. "I think that everyone needs a place, or a space or a moment to themselves where they are able to do what they love and find their thing,” she explained. “For me that’s the farm, and whether that’s doing a little oil painting in the morning and then doing a puzzle in the afternoon… I don’t know, it’s random things.”
Gigi added, "A lot of the time, I’ll have friends and family at the farm, but there are a lot of days where I’m there just by myself, and I sit in my little cottage in silence and just doing these little things for myself. I think that also gives me the energy and the love for what I do. It recharges my batteries.”
The Los Angeles native rekindled her romance with Zayn Malik and confirmed they were back together on February 14. She shared a sweet Valentine's Day message on social media to the former One Direction member, 27. “HEY VALENTINE,” she captioned a shot of Zayn. “Z on the farm ♡ Dec 2019.”
The couple dated for several years on and off until calling it quits in January 2019. Zayn and Gigi first sparked romance rumors last month when they were spotted showing PDA in New York City. The two were photographed walking back to her apartment after a dinner with Gigi's sister Bella and Yolanda, 56.
