OK! Exclusive: Amber Portwood Was ‘Shocked’ Over Matt Baier’s 7 Children Scandal: ‘We Went Through A Rough Patch’

Gary Shirley exposed the biggest scandal of the Teen Mom OG season when he accused Amber Portwood’s fiancé Matt Baier of fathering seven children. But no one was more shocked than Portwood, who exclusively revealed to OKMagazine.com how the bombshell rocked her relationship with Baier.

“When I was presented with the papers, I was so shocked,” the 25-year-old said. “I didn’t know what to think. Did my man have all these kids with all these women that I didn’t know about? It freaked me out.”

Although the scandal forced the couple to go through a “rough patch,” Portwood insisted the rumors are false. “No he does not have seven kids,” she cleared up. “I know who his kids are, he is in contact with them.”

While Portwood wouldn’t disclose how many children her fiancé does have because it’s “no one’s business,” she did reveal her relationship with his children. “I’ve met his two youngest kids and we’re great,” she said. “They’re all older kids so they’re all understanding and they know our relationship. I have a good relationship with everyone.”

The drama isn’t halting Portwood’s wedding planning, as she continues to prepare for her October 10 wedding! “Wedding planning is going really good,” she said. “I want it to be very elegant and have roses everywhere!”

Portwood is also working on her guest list, which includes all of her TMOG co-stars! “I’m inviting every single one of them,” she revealed. “I love them all. Those are my girls!”
