Amy Duggar Insists She Was Not A Victim Of Cousin Josh Duggar: Report
Three months ago the Josh Duggar molestation scandal broke and shook the nation. The idyllic family of 19 was facing tragedy as Josh admitted to molesting five young girls, including is own sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar, when he was a teen himself.
Amy Duggar, Josh’s cousin whom he was close to, in an interview with People, admitted she didn’t even know the dangerous family secret. Amy said, "I didn't know about it. It took me by surprise."
She admitted, "I knew that he did go away for a little bit, but I didn't know why." It turns out that Josh was sent away for therapy and counseling after Jim Bob and Michelle learned of his actions.
Even though there was widespread speculation about whether or not there were more familial victims, Amy insists she was not a victim. She said, "I was not part of it at all. I wasn't anywhere near any of that."
