Back in March, Jolie even fired one of the family nannies after she busted Pitt “flirting” and “being a little too friendly” with the caretaker!

With one less nanny, Brangie started fighting over who would stay home to care for Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. However, their arguments turned into “war” over an agreement that only one could work at a time.

In a last ditch effort, Brad and Angie had an “emergency family meeting” in France in July to salvage their relationship and “poured their hearts out to each other.”

But Angelina realized “how far apart they’ve gotten as a couple” and “don’t interact unless it’s about their kids,” namely Shiloh, whom they took to therapy after expressing wishes to identify as a boy.

After several desperate attempts and photo ops, Angie’s brother James Haven stepped in to play dad because of Brad’s absence as a father due to his busy schedule.

“The kids rarely see Brad,” a source exclusively told OKMagazine.com. “He leaves for the set before they wake and comes home after they’ve gone to bed. There are days when James spends more time with them than either of their busy parents.”

They still forged on, though, and even debated adopting another child to “strengthen” their marriage.

Behind-the-scenes, though, they were in bitter battles over money because the pair were “overspending for years” and had growing debt concerns.
