Almost two years ago to the date, April became the world's most famous giraffe when Animal Adventure Park zoo keepers posted a two month long live stream of the animal's two month-long labor and birth of her fourth calf, Tajiri.
With April pregnant once again, the zoo has been keeping the world updated on her progress.
On Wednesday morning, March 6, the Animal Adventure Park posted an update on their Facebook page saying April’s udders have filled and she’s producing a “yellow/cloudy” discharge, which means she is almost ready to welcome her fifth baby into the world!
“Now of course ‘there’ could be hours, a day or so, perhaps,” the parked added. “What I will promise, it won’t be two months of waiting!”
