Step aside, Cupid! Ariana Grande says she’s to thank for her relationship with new boyfriend Pete Davidson. In a PDA-packed Instagram post, Ariana shared a photo of her getting a kiss on the cheek from the Saturday Night Live star and gave herself all the credit for making their romance happen.
“I thought u into my life. Woah ! Look at my mind,” Ariana captioned this adorable photo of the pair.
Ariana shared the pic one day after Pete posted his own picture of the couple, confirming rumors that they were dating. “The chamber of secrets has been opened,” Pete captioned a pic of him and Ariana standing side by side wearing wizard robes from Harry Potter.
Pete, who recently split from Larry David’s daughter Cazzie, has already had to defend his and Ariana’s relationship. When Internet trolls suggested he shouldn’t be dating given his diagnosis with Borderline Personality Disorder, the 24-year-old clapped back at the haters.

“Normally I wouldn’t comment on something like this cause like f**k you. But I been hearing a lot of “people with bpd can’t be in relationships” talk. I just wanna let you know that’s not true,” he wrote on Instagram. “Just because someone has a mental illness does not mean they can’t be happy and in a relationship.”
“It also doesn’t mean that person makes the relationship toxic. Everybody is different and there are a lot of treatments for mental illnesses and I have done/am doing all of them. And I encourage those who struggle to seek help as well it has changed my life for the better," Pete wrote.
Prior to dating Pete, Ariana split from rapper Mac Miller, who was arrested for a DUI shortly after their split. When fans accused Ariana of causing Mac’s bad behavior, she snapped back, “I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be. I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming / blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his s**t together is a very major problem.”
