Peter Weber’s been through some ups and downs on his season of The Bachelor and it hasn’t even aired yet! From the pilot’s injuries to him asking his ex-girlfriend Hannah Brown to compete on his season, there's already a lot to unpack.

Peter, 28, had the odds stacked against him when he was named The Bachelor. Former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay was particularly vocal about the fact that she thought Mike Johnson should’ve been the lead. “People are rioting and I am leading it,” Rachel, 34, told Mike, 31, on the September 19 podcast of Bachelor Happy Hour. “I think you’d be more entertaining.”
At the beginning of filming in September, Peter had to bail out of a group date early in his season, according to blogger Reality Steve, because he got sick. The pilot is known for having sex four times in a windmill with Hannah, 25, and The Bachelor reportedly planned a sex-themed group date where the women were supposed to share fun, embarrassing or sexy stories about their hookup past.
The Bachelor later got into a freak accident. He fell off a golf cart in Costa Rica on October 7 while carrying two wine glasses. The glasses broke and he ended up getting 22 stitches on his face, according to RadarOnline.com.
In the newest trailer of Peter’s season, the pilot appeared to get into trouble for having sex with one of his contestants. “You can't be doing these things with other women or I'm leaving,” one of the women said. He responded, “I don't want this to just feel like it's all about sex, but I have been intimate, I can't lie to you about that.”
The craziest plot twist is when Hannah arrived and asked to speak to Peter. “I'm so confused right now, what are you doing here?” he asked. The former Bachelorette told her ex-boyfriend, “I’m making decisions for my heart because I know there's still something there and I would do anything for a relationship.”
The feeling was clearly mutual because the two cozied up and touched each other intimately. Peter asked, “What I'm about to say is extremely crazy. What would you say if I asked you to be part of the house?” The trailer ends right before Hannah answered.
Hannah isn’t the only pageant girl potentially vying for Peter’s heart. There are five other women who hold pageant titles in the upcoming season of The Bachelor.
On a positive note, Peter’s family lives close to The Bachelor mansion so if any drama is out of control, his home isn’t far away and neither are the hometown dates.
The new season premieres on January 6, 2020.
