Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt Leolah Brown recently made claims that her niece is no longer on life support and is improving. But sources close to the 22-year-old’s family are now speaking out, saying Leolah wasn’t telling the truth about the status of Bobbi Kris’ health and her situation remains dire.
Despite Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother Cissy Houston revealing in May that her granddaughter’s condition hadn’t improved at all since her hospitalization, Leolah said in her post that her niece is “continuing today to improve” and that she isn’t on life support.
But a family source has since knocked Leolah’s statements, telling People that Bobbi Kristina’s condition remains the same.
"Bobbi Kristina remains completely unresponsive. She cannot communicate. The heartbreak and the pain we feel in seeing her that way is beyond words," the source said.
The source also slammed Leolah’s claims that Pat wants to “pull the plug” on her niece’s life support, saying, "No one is trying to pull the plug. No one is saying goodbye." The insider went on to say the family is attempting to stay strong through the trial and remains hopeful. "They are taking things one day at time," the source said. "The pain they feel at seeing her in that condition is immense. She is in God's hands and it's whatever he decides. Today at this moment, we just don't know."
The Brown and Houston families have reportedly been feuding since Bobbi Kris’ hospitalization at the end of January, with both her financial estate and the plans for her future being named as just a few of the issues that have divided the two groups! However, according to recent reports, despite his at times strained relationship with Pat, Bobby is angry with his sister Leolah for the lies she's spreading about Pat and their family.
