The Bachelorette season with Kaitlyn Bristowe isn’t even over yet – and Bachelor nation is already buzzing about who will be the next Bachelor! With rumors that Andi Dorfman’s ex-fiancé Josh Murray or former Bachelor Chris Soules may be the show’s next star, Chris Harrison set the record straight on who will be giving out the roses next season.
When asked by E! if Josh will be the next Bachelor, Chris shut the rumors down. "Maybe he's talking about it or maybe Bachelor nation's talking about it," he said. "I know they love him and he's a great guy by the way. Great-looking guy and obviously, we saw that he was heartbroken after his relationship with Andi. So would he be a viable candidate? Sure, he's a great guy, but I know we're not having those discussions."
Chris, the show’s most recent Bachelor, is also rumored to return to the show after he ended his engagement to Whitney Bischoff in May. “Prince Farming will definitely not be back,” the show's host said.

So who is in the running? The remaining men from Kaitlyn’s season! “Just off the top of my head I can think of four guys,” Chris said. “Those guys are still on the show, so it’s not hard to figure out who we’re interested in.” The candidates include Shawn Booth, Nick Viall, Ben Z, Ben H., Tanner, Joe, Chris “Cupcake,” JJ and Jared.
With Kaitlyn possibly revealing this season’s winner by posting a photo with Shawn on Snapchat and Nick’s status as this season’s villain, we’re going to rule them out!
