Bye, Future! Ciara And Russell Wilson's Reaction To Fans' Purple Umbrella Emojis Is Revealed

Rapper Future released his first mixtape of 2016, “Purple Reign,” this past week, and fans wasted no time before taking jabs at Russell Wilson and Ciara by posting purple umbrella emojis in their Instagram comments! But it sounds like the couple wasn’t fazed in the least.

“Ciara and Russell actually thought all of the Purple Reign comments and emojis were funny,” a source told E!

The timing of the fans behavior definitely wasn’t great, as NFL star Russell was preparing to play against the Carolina Panthers alongside the Seattle Seahawks in the playoffs. The Seahawks ended up losing the game 24-31, but Ciara was proud of her boyfriend regardless.

After the game, she shared a photo of Russell, along with a caption that read in part, “Constantly inspiring Me and Others Around. A Rare Breed You Are. My Champ. The Best Is Yet To Come. I Love You.”

“Ciara is in the best place in her life now and has no energy or focus on Future. Her only focus is on baby Future and Russell. She knows fans will be fans and stuff like that is expected,” the source added.

And while her ex-fiance’s fans may be quick to take jabs at Ciara and her new boo, don’t expect Ciara to retaliate!

“She has always thought Future was an extremely talented artist. She won't knock him ever on his craft because she is way too mature for that,” the insider added.
