Amy Duggar is still mourning the loss of her grandmother Mary who passed away on June 9 after she drowned. The pregnant Counting On star wrote a somber Father’s Day post for her husband, Dillon King, and revealed he’s been working at her clothing store 3130 while she grieves at home.
Amy, 32, posted a black and white photo of her husband Dillon kissing her forehead on June 16. She began her message, “Thankful for this daddy-to-be who has been so loving and so patient with me this week.”
She continued, “He has been working at 3130 while I have been taking some personal time away.”
The Counting On star revealed, “Our plans to celebrate completely changed this week, instead of fishing with a fun picnic today we are mourning the loss of my sweet mema.” She added, “It has been a very hard day and I couldn't have gotten through it without you right there beside me.”
The couple is expecting their first child, a baby boy, this fall. “You are hilarious, determined, driven, faithful and caring Dillon. Our little boy will have such a good Godly man to look up to in his life and I can't wait till I see you hold him for the first time.?.”
Amy’s mother Deanna was the one who found grandmother Mary in their pool. The Counting On star revealed she spent at least 3-4 days a week with her grandmother and was in constant communication with her. Mary’s funeral is scheduled for June 17, according to RadarOnline.com.
“Thank you for wiping away my tears, and for always being there for me through the amazing times and the devastating times. I just adore you,” she ended her message to Dillon.
