Drake gave fans a rare glimpse into his life as a dad by posting an Instagram photo of the decorations he put up around his apartment in honor of son Adonis' second birthday on Friday, October 11. The rapper secretly welcomed his first child with French former adult film star Sophie Brussaux after they enjoyed a brief fling following his splits from Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez.
Drake, 32, decorated the entryway of his home with giant gold balloons that spelled out his son's unique name. He also placed a giant Gonzo from the Muppet Babies doll under the elaborate display. "Happy Birthday King," the "Hotline Bling" crooner captioned the snapshot. "God bless," La La Anthony wrote in the comments section. "Happy Birthday grandson," Drake's father Dennis Graham added.
It's interesting that Drake's dad is acting like everything is fine between them, because the Grammy winner recently slammed Dennis for speaking out about their relationship during an interview with Nick Cannon.
Dennis claimed that Drake made him out to be an absentee father in order to sell records. "I had a conversation with Drake about that. I have always been with Drake. I talk to him if not every day, then every other day. We really got into a deep conversation about that. I said, 'Drake, why are you saying all of this different stuff about me? This is not cool.' He said, 'Dad, it sells records.' Okay, well cool," Dennis said on Power 106’s Nick Cannon Mornings on October 8.

As soon as the interview aired, Drake hopped onto his Instagram Stories to deny his father's version of events.
"Woke up today so hurt man. My father will say anything to anyone that’s willing to listen to him. It’s sad when family gets like this but what can we really do that’s the people we are stuck with … every bar I ever spit was the truth and the truth is hard for some people to accept," he wrote.
Neither Drake nor Sophie has shared a photo of little Adonis' face with fans since his birth. Drake confirmed that the boy was his biological child on his album Scorpion.
