Ed Sheeran may have to pick between his girlfriend and his best friend because his leading lady Athina Andrelos doesn’t want her man associating with Taylor Swift!

A source told OKMagazine.com exclusively that after Taylor basically confessed her love for the red-headed crooner during her speech at the Brit Awards, Athina wants Ed to cut ties completely with his pal.
“It’s incredibly awkward for Ed, because Athina doesn’t want Taylor anywhere near them or their social circle,” the insider revealed.
Ed, 24, is “respecting her wishes” but the source added it’s been difficult because “he digs Taylor, too” and wants to keep his singer BFF and his foodie girlfriend.

Taylor isn’t the only thing taking a toll on their relationship, either. A report from The Mirror said the pair, who has been dating since early last year, are on the rocks because of Ed’s busy schedule.

“Things haven’t been as good and Ed has just headed off on a world tour which will keep them apart for months,” a source told The Mirror. He’s scheduled for stops in Australia, South America, the U.S. and Canada before he heads home to London in the summer.
The report said there “have been a few fallouts and the latest seems to be more serious.” Yikes!
