Once the lawyer was out of surgery, she updated fans on her condition. Underneath a photo of a heart rate monitor on her finger, she wrote, "In recovery. Everything went well." However, the following day after her hip replacement, Emily admitted she was in a lot of pain and she attempted to get up from her hospital bed and try walking. "I got up and walked to a chair. Not going to lie. The pain is way worse than I anticipated," the mother of three wrote below a video of herself limping.
On October 14, Emily tweeted that she would be receiving a hip replacement. She wrote at the time, "I’m having hip replacement surgery October 28th. I’m nervous, but beyond excited about finally being able to move pain free. The new Emily can’t wait to run, jump, workout, walk a catwalk and dance!! #rhoc."
