Going To Court! Leah Messer Has Been Given A Court Date To Win Back Full Custody Of Her Twin Daughters
Leah Messer isn’t giving up without a fight! The Teen Mom 2 star has been given the opportunity next month to fight for full custody of her twin girls.
Leah "has been waiting for this day for months" and is "thrilled," an insider told RadarOnline. Back in October, Leah lost custody of the twins, Ali and Aleeah, due to frequent school absences.
A judge granted full custody to Leah’s first ex-husband Corey Simms because he has a more stable household. Currently, Leah has weekend custody of the twins, as well as full custody of her third daughter, 2-year-old Addie, with her second ex-husband Jeremy Calvert.

Sources say that Leah met with the superintendent at the school to prove that she dropped the twins off in time for them to attend school. The source revealed that Leah “thinks she has a good chance to get her daughters back.”
During her court date, which is set in January, a different source revealed that Leah hopes to set things back to the way they were before losing custody.
While Leah fights to win full custody of the twins back, Corey seems to be enjoying the time he is spending with his daughters. On Instagram, Jeff Simms, Corey's father, was posting adorable photos of their bonding time, which included a trip to McDonalds!
