Gwyneth Paltrow spoke to WSJ Magazine about her love of yoga and how she believes that she popularized the health trend.The trendsetter wants credit where credit is due for claiming she made yoga a household sport.
The mother of two told the magazine a story about the time she went to a yoga studio and her claim came to light. "Forgive me if this comes out wrong," she started.
"I went to do a yoga class in L.A. recently and the 22-year-old girl behind the counter was like, 'Have you ever done yoga before?'" The Oscar winner said.
"And literally I turned to my friend, and I was like, 'You have this job because I’ve done yoga before.'"

The 46-year-old then remembered when she first started doing yoga and people thought she was a "crackpot." "I remember when I started doing yoga and people were like, 'What is yoga? She’s a witch. She’s a freak,'" she explained.
The actress is the founder of Goop, a lifestyle brand that has led her to create a wellness empire with her beauty, cooking and style products. The company and her devotion to living well has made her quite the health guru.
