As the questions continue to grow about Janet Jackson’s upcoming surgery she first announced in December, a source has revealed to RadarOnline.com that the music legend’s family is growing worried about her condition.
Sources exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com that doctors discovered a tumor on Janet's vocal chords. And following the release of that shocking report, a second insider said Jackson’s family is now “terrified” about her health crisis.
“They are all so scared that Janet may have cancer,” the source said. “The situation is really quite baffling because Janet does not smoke cigarettes and she lives a really healthy lifestyle.”
The insider added that Janet’s parents, Katherine Jackson and Joe Jackson, are having an extremely tough time dealing with the news.

“Katherine and Joe are taking this very hard because they are really afraid of losing another child,” the source said.
And though she’s keeping a strong face around her family, the source said that Janet is also quite troubled by the surgery. “Janet has been very brave, trying to hide her own fear from her parents. But I heard that she absolutely broke down with her husband Wissam Al Mana when her parents were not around,” the insider said.
Speaking to RadarOnline.com, Dr. Stuart Fischer, who has not treated Jackson, said that a cancerous tumor would be a troubling setback in Janet’s highly successful comeback with her new album, Unbreakable. “Cancer of the larynx requires immediate surgery — and a patient often needs an electrolarynx, or artificial voice box, just to be able to speak,” Dr. Fischer said, adding, “Singing would be impossible.” What do you think about Janet’s scary medical crisis?
