Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith had a very eventful New Year’s Eve, and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. The Teen Mom 2 couple are currently vacationing in sunny St. Thomas in The Virgin Islands, which was a 23rd birthday gift to Jenelle from Nathan!
Jenelle turned 23 on December 19th, and while an engagement ring wasn’t one of her birthday gifts, Nathan showered his lady with a ton of presents. In addition to giving her two tickets to St. Thomas, Nathan also booked a weekend for two at a nearby Myrtle Beach hotel, made her a vanity, and gave her a personalized jewelry box.
And Jenelle has been getting bikini-ready since she first got the tickets! She posted this selfie last week to prove that she’s been dropping some weight before her trip. Hey, that’s one way to refute those pesky pregnancy rumors!
Before taking off on their flight to paradise, Jenelle posted a selfie with her smiley boy, Kaiser. Kaiser and her other son, Jace, are most likely going to be staying with Barbara while Jenelle and Nathan are out of town.
And of course, Jenelle had to show off her new hair, too! “Someone’s blonder!” Jenelle wrote of her lightened-up do, which seems weather appropriate for the tropical destination.
And if you’re wondering what Jenelle wears on airplanes, the answer is apparently Lifeguard hoodies. She got comfy before the long flight.
Jenelle also shared a photo of her travel buddy, Nathan, as they enjoyed a quick bite at the airport. Not even a little feud with her sister could rain on Jenelle’s vacay parade!
And after a delay at the airport and a few technical issues with the airplane, Jenelle and Nathan finally made it safely to their destination. “Enjoying my view,” Jenelle wrote with this pic of their first morning in paradise.
“No shoes. No shirt. No problem. The only view I need: beach and my man,” Jenelle wrote just hours before this man was to become her fiance (!!!)
The couple also went paddleboarding, which is probably way more difficult than it looks.
And we’re guessing that Jenelle’s waterproof camera which she uses for bath selfies came in handy for this on-the-water shot!
Speaking of selfies, this one of Jenelle and an iguana might win for best ever.
After a day of hanging out on the water and with the wildlife, it was time for a romantic dinner for Nathan and Jenelle, who got engaged while they were there! See more pics from the proposal (plus Jenelle’s ring!) right HERE.
And there’s no better way to tell your kid that mommy and daddy are getting married than with video chat! The newly-engaged couple took a few minutes out of beach time to Skype with their son, Kaiser. Aw!
After chatting with Kai, Jenelle and Nathan enjoyed a “raspberry margarita and banana split” on the beach. Yum.

And once it finally settled in that she’s getting married, Jenelle shared a photo from her and Nathan’s engagement dinner from the night prior. Do we think Nathan hid the ring in the steak?!
Jenelle then showed off her new gift, a backpack from the US Virgin Islands Film Society. “I got your gift USVI Film Society ! I’ll use this bag on my hiking trip this week!” she wrote. Pics from the hiking trip coming soon, most likely.
Jenelle added a few new St. Thomas charms to her Pandora bracelet. Love!
And would you look at that? The new charm even matches her frozen drink.
But this drink looks even more delicious! "Drinking coconuts in paradise," Jenelle wrote as she made everyone currently in the freezing cold extremely jealous.
The next day it was a triple date for Jenelle, Nathan and their friends. “Ready for Sea trek!” Jenelle wrote of this group shot.
Jenelle added that snorkeling was the “best experience of my life!” She means aside from Nathan's proposal, obviously.
“Idk what Nathan is doing,” Jenelle wrote of this pic of the crew during their shuttle ride.
Such a pretty aquarium! We bet Jace and Kaiser would’ve loved this vacation.
“I can’t get over this view!” Jenelle wrote, referring to the beach and not her toned, tanned, tattooed stomach.

"Last day for Magen's Bay lol," Jenelle wrote of this cute mirror selfie with her fiance (!!!).
And what a good fiance he is—Jenelle wrote that as this pic was taken, Nathan was pulling up her bathing suit before she took a selfie. So cute that he wants her to be modest!
Sooo tan! Jenelle and Nathan are on the final leg of their vacation, but at least they have gorgeous tans (not to mention a shiny new engagement) ring to show off to their kids when they get home to North Carolina!
