Alex Rodriguez is Jennifer Lopez’s biggest fan. During the Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show which featured the Hustlers star and Shakira, Alex, 44, took to Instagram and gushed over his ladylove’s performance.
“AMAZING!! She ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED IT!” Alex captioned a video of him in the crowd during J-Lo’s halftime performance. “Wow, that was so fun! I’m so proud of you, Jen! ❤️” he added.
The video, posted on February 2, featured the sports broadcaster jumping and singing along to the chorus of Jennifer’s hit song “On the Floor.” He was surrounded by excited fans on the field of Miami Garden’s Hard Rock Stadium. The former New York Yankees player was with his daughters Natasha and Ella.
Before the game, Jennifer, 50, teased that A-Rod would have a great view of the show. “You know Alex. He’ll be as close as he can get to that stage!” she joked to People on January 30. “Alex and all of our kids will be watching, they’ll all be in the stadium.”
Alex wouldn’t say much ahead of the performance, but told Entertainment Tonight that there would be plenty of amazing moments. “It's gonna be an unbelievable show, I was just in the building a couple of days ago, the energy, the magic…” the sports broadcaster confessed. “There's so many surprises that you're going to be blown away by.”

Shakira opened the show with her hit “She Wolf,” and played the guitar and belly-danced to “Wherever, Whenever.” Shakira was also accompanied by Bad Bunny and sang Cardi B’s “I Like It.” The Colombia native finished her set with “Hips Don’t Lie” and surfed the crowd.
Jennifer opened her part of the set with the 2002 single “Jenny From The Block,” followed by “Get Right.” The Bronx native showed off her pole-dancing skills while she sang a medley of her song “Love Don't Cost A Thing" and J Balvin’s tune, "Mi Gente."
The Second Act star was joined onstage by her 11-year-old daughter, Emme Maribel. The mother daughter-duo sang “Let’s Get Loud.” To finish the halftime show, Shakira came back onstage and joined J-Lo to sing her 2010 song “Waka Waka.”
