Fans are missing Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard on Counting On! Nearly a year after Derick’s transphobic Twitter rant got the couple kicked off the TLC show, fans are signing an online petition to get them back on the series!
Via the website ipetitions.com, fans have set up a page called “Get the Dillards back on TLC.” The site has gotten 257 signatures of the 1,000-signature goal.
There are also over 100 comments defending Derick, saying he has “a right to his beliefs.” Some also bashed his firing as “persecution and discrimination against Christians.”
As OK! readers know, Derick got in trouble last fall when he took to Twitter to bash the TLC show I Am Jazz, which follows Jazz Jenning’s transgender journey.

Derick claimed the show was a form of child abuse and claimed transgender was a “myth.” Subsequently, TLC announced it no longer had plans to feature Derick on the show.
At the time, the network did not comment on Jill’s status on the show, but she seems to have opted to refrain from filming to be with her husband. She did not appear on the show this past season.
