John Mayer has a new tragic love story to croon over and this one is IRL! The singer, who was left in the dust after Katy Perry started dating Orlando Bloom, is a broken man after losing his longtime girlfriend, insiders revealed to OKMagazine.com, and is blaming himself!
Multiple sources told OK! the 38-year-old is kicking himself for driving her away by refusing to commit.
“As usual, John’s full of remorse now it’s too late and he’s lost her,” one source said.
Mayer was last seen, according to an eyewitness, at Soho House in Los Angeles eating “alone in a corner” looking like “the picture of misery” and “ignoring everyone who tried to talk to him.”

OK!’s source said John lost Katy, 31, for good just before the new year because of an inability to commit.
John and Katy were talking about taking their relationship to the next level, but “he flaked on her yet again and Orlando wooed her at the perfect time,” the insider added.
Bloom, 39, and Perry were first seen together at the Golden Globes in January and have been parading their love all over, much to Mayer’s dismay.
“John only has himself to blame,” the source said. “He’s lost his confidence because he knows he’s finally run out of chances.”
