OK! Exclusive: Kailyn Lowry Reveals How Her Relationship With Javi Marroquin Is Today After Contemplating Divorce: ‘We Fight For Our Marriage’

Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin almost called their marriage quits following explosive fights on Teen Mom 2, as they even drew up divorce papers and came up with a custody plan for their son Lincoln, 1. In an exclusive interview with OKMagazine.com, the MTV star reveals how the couple’s relationship is today.

“Our relationship is really good right now,” Kail told OKMagazine.com. “I’m happy things are becoming more and more positive for us.”

Although the couple received backlash on social media because of their tumultuous relationship, the “Love is Bubblegum” author explained how re-watching their fights actually bettered their marriage. “I’m really glad they ended up showing some of our hardships because we can look back and see how far we took stuff,” Kailyn explained. “We’re happy right now. I’m happy things are becoming more and more positive for us.”

Kailyn and her husband have even vowed to continue working on their marriage to ensure divorce isn’t an option in the future. “If we need to we’ll go back to counseling,” she said. “Make sure we fight for our marriage. I think communication for us is the biggest thing, especially with our jobs and the things that we’re doing that keep us apart for so long. I don’t see divorce in our future.”

Kail even gave tips on how fans could have their homes be as creative and beautiful as hers. “My first thing is do not impulse buy because you’ll probably end up spending way more money on something,” she explained of how she finds the items seen on her site, which are low-priced. “My ideas come from everywhere. Sometimes I see something on Pinterest and then I put my own tweaks in it, I make it my own.”
