Kanye incited a major Twitter war just a few short weeks ago when he walked into the TMZ headquarters and claimed “slavery was a choice.”

Not to mention, the 40-year-old got into it with fellow musician John Legend, who tried to step in when the rapper went off the rails on Twitter.
So it might have come as a relief when Kanye took to Twitter to announce that he got rid of his old phone so that he could focus on “these albums.” Amid his many rants, and getting rid of his manager recently, he did mention that was working on several albums, including a collaboration with Kid Cudi.
But has the “Heartless” rapper really stepped out of the limelight to focus on his work, if he’s right there on Twitter giving up-to-the-minute updates? Did this mean that the next time he’ll emerge will be in time for the release of his albums?
