Kanye West is sharing the spotlight for a change! In Harper’s Bazaar’s September ICONS issue, the famed rapper poses with his children North and Saint as part of a “First Families of Music” feature.
In the photo, Kanye stares straight at the camera as daughter North, 5, sits atop his shoulders. He holds son Saint, 2, who’s looking off into the distance, in his arms.
Noticeably missing from the family photo is mom Kim Kardashian and daughter Chicago, seven months.
Also featured in the issue are Bruce Springsteen and his daughter, Christina Aguilera and her two children, and Mariah Carey and her twins, just to name a few. Bruce will appear on the cover in newsstands, while Kanye’s family pic will be featured on the cover of subscribers’ issues.

When asked about his hopes for his children, Kanye told the mag, “I hope my children will never lose their confidence to society.”
Kanye has been dealing with a lot of personal turmoil as of late. On Tuesday, sources confirmed to People that Kanye’s father had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. And last week, Kanye was rushed to the hospital amid fears he’s headed for another mental breakdown.
