Ever since Caitlyn Jenner made her long-awaited debut on the cover of Vanity Fair, she prefers to go by female pronouns. But during an interview on the red carpet of the Fragrance Foundation Awards, her daughter Kendall Jenner referred to the former Olympian as “he.”
When E! News asked about her father’s upcoming docu-series, I Am Cait, the model responded, “I think he can honestly do so much good with everything and I’m excited for it.”
But the use of male pronouns didn’t end there, as she added, “If he’s excited, I’m excited for him.”

During Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce, the 19-year-old took the news hard when she discovered that Caitlyn would be transitioning from a male to a female. “I just don’t like when people say Bruce is going to be gone,” she sobbed, as Caitlyn responded, “I’m not going anywhere.”
Despite her pronoun choice, there is no doubt that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is supportive of her dad, as she praised Caitlyn for helping her become the mature adult she is today. "My dad especially was hard on Kylie and I when we were kids and taught us how to be mature adults at a very young age,” she explained.
