Khloe Kardashian has admitted that she has been worried about Lamar Odom, who was hospitalized on Oct. 13 after being found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel, but her sister Kim insisted she stopped checking on her ex-husband before the tragedy.
The family including Kim, Khloe and Kris Jenner were by Lamar’s side on Oct. 14, but during a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashian, Khloe and Kim got into an argument about whether or not Khloe should speak to Lamar. E! News later revealed that Khloe had "cut off contact with Lamar in the summer," but has been "worried about Lamar for a very long time."
"I don't know why Khloé and Lamar are talking but he hurt her so badly," Kim said. "As a big sister, I'm just really protective and for her just to be flirting with him on the phone makes me, like, sick to my stomach."
The sisters continued to fight about Khloe’s relationship with Lamar. "Like, I just can't take it," Kim said. "What can't you take?" Khloe asks. "The fact that when he decides to come around and be friendly, you're like, flirting with him," Kim said.

Khloe, however, said she will keep Lamar’s phone number in case she wants to check on him, saying: "Lamar and I loved each other deeply, and I don't believe in just acting like that relationship never existed. Things happened, but that doesn't just stop me from caring about him or loving him, so if I feel the need to check on Lamar, that's my prerogative and I'm going to do it."

She may have even seen it coming! During a previous episode of KUWTK, Khloe said that Lamar was “distraught and devastated” over the loss of his friend, Jamie. “I’m really on high alert for Lamar, because anything will set him to spiral, and that's kind of the last thing I want for him," Kardashian said.
In her Complex magazine cover story, Kardashian said she misses her ex "every day." "Lamar is genuinely one of the best people I've ever met, and everyone says that when they meet him. I think Lamar's going to always be that person (for me), but that's what made it so special."
Long before things went sour for Khloe and Lamar, who wed in 2009 after one month of dating, her sister Kim spoke highly of their romance.
"They're very, very happy," Kim said. "They've been together a few weeks and are literally inseparable. Khloe thinks he's amazing and makes her laugh and smile constantly."
