“So excited to announce my new @kkwbeauty Sooo Fire Collection!!!” Kim wrote. “The new collection includes a 10-pan metallic eyeshadow palette, 3 eyeliners and 3 glosses with a brand new formula.” Although Kim was excited to debut the way her makeup looks, fans weren’t sold on her ad.
“Why you tryna steal your sister’s money?” a fan alluded to the brand’s likeness of her sister Kylie.
“Kim this looks nothing like you,” one follower wrote on her post. “Okay but this packaging don't even look like you...” someone else commented. Fans thought the reality star looked unrecognizable.
“This is like a replica of Kylie’s brand…” someone wrote. The supermodel, 21, runs the successful company Kylie Cosmetics, and was declared the youngest self-made billionaire by Forbes in March.
The news of Kim’s makeup line comes shortly after her initial reveal of her shapewear brand Kimono along with its rebranding after she was attacked for cultural appropriation.
She also opened up about how she will never feel positive about her cellulite on July 8.
