Kim Kardashian has been called out by male beauty blogger James Charles for neglecting to include men in her recent casting call for her makeup line KKW. James tweeted how "disappointed" he was that only women were requested for her upcoming photoshoots. Click through to see what he had to say!
James called her out on Twitter, posting a screenshot of the casting call and zooming in on the part that read "This call is open to all women 18+."
“Sister !" he wrote. "There are thousands of boys in cosmetics who love you & I’m sure would be honored to slay a photo shoot for you! This is disappointing,” along with a frown emoji.
He later claimed on Twitter he wasn't trying to drag her. “Kim is a legend and personally one of my role models!” he wrote in a now-deleted tweet. “I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to meet her 3x and she has always been SOOO nice and supportive, but I think it’s only fair that other aspiring boys in beauty have the same opportunities.”

Kim has yet to respond to the criticism. But she's no stranger to controversy when it comes to her makeup line. She's also been called out for her association with Jefree Star, who was recorded making racist comments, and for her inability to paint on a good swatch.
This also isn't the first time James has publicly come for a Kardashian. He wrote on Twitter on Monday that he was "probably the only beauty influencer" not on Kylie Jenner's PR list, so he'd have to wait to review her new brushes, which are getting backlash for how expensive they are.
What do you think about James calling out Kim? Should she use male models in her KKW campaign? Sound off in the comments!
